I Dream of Cake

Hi biscuit friends,
It’s me - Skye, your loyal fluffball and biscuit blog correspondent. I’ve been sniffing out secrets again, and this time… I think I found a dream.

It looked like this:
A tiny cake, just the right size for me.
Yogurt frosting so soft it shimmered.
Blueberries. Little bone-shaped biscuits.
And written on top - my name.
Happy Birthday Skye.

Can you believe it?
I mean, just look at it. It’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever almost-eaten.

My human says it’s just an idea. But I’ve seen the way she’s been testing recipes and “accidentally” dropping bits of banana on the floor. This isn’t just any snack. This is a birthday biscuit cake in the making. And maybe - just maybe - it will look exactly like this. Four inches of pure celebration.

What if… my human made cakes for other dogs, too?

Just imagine it - birthday cakes, made with love, for pups across the land! Cakes with names like Luna, Max, Pickle, and Beans. Cakes that say “You’re pawsome,” “You’re 5 now!” or “I chewed the remote, sorry.”

She says it’s “just for me,” but the way she’s been doodling ideas in her notebook tells a different story…

Now here’s the other thing... I overheard a word this week.
Valentine’s.

Apparently, there are plans. Possibly pink biscuits. Possibly heart-shaped. Possibly for dogs who want to treat themselves or send a crumb of love to another good girl or boy.

I’ll keep sniffing out details.

But for now - I’m dreaming of cake. Of frosting. Of blueberries and birthday songs and tail wags. And I’ll keep dreaming until that magical day arrives.
